Description
Legend of the creation is a series of oil paintings, each depicting a garment on a mannequin, dynamic in the forms & volume, minimally tinted with colour, almost neutral. The mannequin presents as a support in place of a figure, imagined, understood. We appreciate what is created but seldom consider what supported the creation in the first place, because oftentimes it is invisible. The viewer’s focus is eventually drawn to the supporting object while observing and reflecting on these paintings.
